Telephone calls may go to voicemail, but will be returned as quickly as possible. Please call before coming to the Board offices. Every person visiting these offices must wear a face mask. On Wednesday, March 18, 2020, the Minnesota Supreme Court issued an Order suspending the 15 credit limit for on-demand continuing legal education for Category 3 lawyers due to report August 31, 2020, for the July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2020 reporting period. Lawyers due in 2020 may report these credits through OASIS. If you have any issues with reporting this way, please contact the office at the email address above.
Lawyers are encouraged to contact the Board office by email if you have concerns related to your compliance. We understand that many sponsors are providing remote access to programming. As a reminder, Rule 5A(5) of the Rules of the Board of Continuing Legal Education permits lawyers to attend and report 100% of their CLE obligations through live teleconferences and webinars. On-demand credits for lawyers not due to report in 2020 are still subject to the 15 credit hour cap.
Additional guidance to sponsors who need to make changes to previously approved courses is available here.
We will continue to update this page if there are any additional changes.
